As I sit down to write this I’m just back from a walk in the park with Steven and sipping on a mug of herbal tea. I’m feeling a little brighter, lighter and a whole lot fresher for it. Golden Quinoa Falafel

It’s definitely starting to feel more like spring. Little flowers are breaking through and the weather feels a bit brighter. I can’t believe we’re already well into March. This year is speeding by so far. Which is a nice reminder for me to slow down a little every now and then to be fully present and take in everything around me. Mood Boosting Cacao Smoothie

This morning I had a doctor’s appointment for a blood test. They’re not so bad but I do tend to get quite light-headed afterwards. After walking home (in the gorgeous sun!!) Spiced Red Lentil Bowl

For the last few days I have been craving comfort. Comfort in all forms. Hot tea, blankets, restful sleep, a good book, lots of cuddles, candles etc. When I recognise I’m in a low place I try my best to look to the simple, little things I know will bring me some comfort and ease the heavy feeling.
